IN COLLABORATION WITH THE CREATORS COLLECTIVE, 3 TO 1 BROUGHT THREE BROOKLYN BASED ARTISTS TOGETHER TO SPEND 24 HOURS IN A HOTEL ROOM. THESE ARTISTS COLLABORATED FOR THE FIRST TIME, CREATING A LIVE INSTALLATION WHICH WAS PRESENTED TO AN AUDIENCE WHILE IN PROCESS AND AFTER COMPLETION.

Three artists who shared a haunting, powerful, and deeply feminine quality to their work: film maker and video artist Carmen Osterlye, choreographer Mallory Lynn, and musician Christine Hoberg.  Through an intense process, the three created a piece based on the imagined experiences and lives of others who had stayed in the same hotel room they were sharing that evening.

After 12 hours of process, we brought up guests to their room to experience the unfinished installation. The walk-thru was followed by a hotel lobby performance highlighting the three artists: Osterlye set up projections that were cast on performers, Lynn's company LoudHound Movement premiered a new work, followed by a musical set by Hoberg and a performance from Bushwick band Star Rover.

The next afternoon, after the 24 hour process was completed, guests were invited back to view the finished installation.
